Why a Silent Gasoline Generator Cannot Generate Power
Here are possible reasons why a silent gasoline generator may not generate power for your reference:
1.The excitation winding of the main generator is disconnected. Check the excitation winding of the main generator using a multimeter. If the resistance is infinite, the excitation circuit should be connected.
2.The excitation windings of the main generator or exciter are connected incorrectly, resulting in improper polarity. This often occurs when replacing the excitation windings of the gasoline generator. Check and correct the connections.
3.Wiring errors. Check and correct the wiring according to the wiring diagram.
4.Serious short circuits in the windings of the main generator or exciter. The armature winding may exhibit obvious overheating in case of a short circuit. The excitation winding short circuit can be determined by its shunt resistance value. Replace the damaged windings.
5.Silicon rectifier elements in the rotating assembly break down and short-circuit in both directions. Use a multimeter to check the resistance in both directions of the rectifier elements and replace any damaged components. Identify the root cause and resolve the issue, and the problem of the gasoline generator not generating power will be naturally resolved!
